I spent a glorious weekend in Jackson Hole with the husband. The trip was originally supposed to be a "brothers" trip. That fell through and then it was going to be a "couples" trip with us and Jeff and Lindsay. In the end Lindsay wasn't able to go (much to my sadness) and so it ended up being mixed. :)
I was a VERY careful skier and took it pretty easy. Friday was heavenly. The skies were blue and the slopes not too crowded. After I'd ride the gondola to the top, I'd sit in a chair and bask in the sun for a few minutes, before beginning my decent.
I think this picture is kind of embarrassing of me, but beautiful of the scenery!
My jacket and pants were a pretty tight squeeze. I think I'll have to retire them now for the season.
While Friday was blue, sunny skies, Saturday was windy and snowy . A complete contrast.
It was so fun to get out and spend some time with Layne and with nature (I pretty much skied alone the whole weekend).
Now that I got that out of my system, I think I'm ready for spring.....

Sounds like a fun weekend. You and Layne are so fun. Mark and I need to get out and have a weekend sometime. Too bad we don't live closer to swap babysitting.
